The Club is located at Moruya Beach in Charles Moffit Drive, Moruya Heads. While our immediate patrol responsibilities are focused on the beach adjacent the Club, roving patrols are also dispatched to Shelly Beach at the mouth of the Moruya River and south along Moruya beach to Pedro Point.
Whilst being affiliated with Surf Life Saving Australian and NSW, we are also an active member of the Far South Coast Branch. Along with other clubs in the Branch, our patrol season and competition season commences with the September/October school holidays. Patrols and competition usually conclude late in April around Anzac Day.
Although the beaches are patrolled in the months leading up to Christmas, the water can be quite cool, with warmer currents not arriving until Christmas. Regardless of water temperature, our members will be there to provide a safe swimming environment for locals and visitors.
